Singapore. I am Swiss, my mum is Swiss and my Dad is Swiss and Austrian but I was born here
in Singapore. I am very fortunate to live in such a clean and safe city. My hobbies are football
(soccer), swimming, reading, water polo and sleeping.
My favourite piece of art is the 1st Mona Lisa. Leonardo da Vinci drew the 1st Mona Lisa about
10 years before the one in the Louvre. I am so very fortunate to have been able to see both of
the Mona Lisas. One in Paris and the other one during an exhibition in Singapore.
In art I am currently working on a 3-D shophouse made out of cardboard. I enjoy working on this
special art work very much. We have to make layers of different pieces of cardboard to make it
look as 3-D as possible.
My favourite type of art is Photoshop and drawing. My best piece of artwork this year was a self
portrait. As you probably already know this is not easy, because you have to draw and make it
look accurate at the same time. I think that I am an expert in Photoshop. I would like advice that
can help me improve in my work. I would also like tricks to make my work (drawing) better.

Hey Marco, love the self-portrait. I wish I was that good with Photoshop :(. No but really, great Photoshop works. By the way, how long have you been using Photoshop? I'd love to know. Also, what do you think about putting an actual background on your snowboard image instead of a blank background? (ex. He's actually snowboarding down a mountain). Anyway, great stuff Marco.
ReplyDeleteI really like the value and shading in this piece. One suggestion I have is that you may want to make the bottom and top of the face proportional, because I feel like the bottom half of your face is larger than the top half.
