Hey guys,
My name is Timo Hänseler, and I live in Singapore. I lived in Singapore for 4 years and really enjoy it. I am very interested in arts. I really like sculpting and 2 point perspective drawings. I like to swim and play tennis, I also like to travel, especially to Australia, because it reminds me of Switzerland from where I come. I do not like to draw humans as they always look bad when I draw them. I also enjoy making photoshop art and taking photos. I have no idea what my best artwork is, I can’t even remember all the artwork I did.
This is one of my favourite pictures I took, I like it because I tried to get the whale really in focus and get most of the whale onto the picture. it was really hard to take pictures 60km away from the Australian South coast, sometimes it was frustrating, but in the end I got some
really good pics.
What an amazing moment you have captured, Timo. Moving subjects are difficult to work with, but when you get a great shot, like this one, it is worth all the effort, right?!
ReplyDeleteYes, It was really motivating when I saw that I captured some awesome pics.
DeleteWow, an amazing picture, experience and memory!
ReplyDeleteThanks you, yes it was definitely an amazing experience and I recommend to do it!!!
DeleteSomething that I really liked about your photo is the contrasting elements, the dark, black whale is a great contrast against the blue sea, really getting the whale into focus but you still look at the great sea, I also admire the fact that you manage to shoot an action shot with no blur, and the fact that it wasn't staged or anything like that makes it even more impressive. I would just like to ask if you did anything special with your camera, or took any special preparation when taking this photo? If there was one thing that I would do to make this photo even better is maybe try to get more of the actual whale inside of the photo, so we can see more of it; but even if you don't do that it's still an amazing photo.
ReplyDeleteHey Connor, No i did not do nay special preparation to take the photo. I was trying to get more of the whale in other photos, but sometimes I just missed the perfect moment and could not get the whole whale on the photo. Thanks for commenting.
